YUKON GOLD POTATO

Fresh and processing potato. An attractive, multi-purpose cultivar,medium specfic gravity, round to slightly oval shape: with light yellowflesh.
Tuber shape: round to slightly oval shape and slightly flattened.Eyes: shallow, pale pink in color. Skin: Yellow. Flesh: light yellowMedium-sized, upright vine, determinate type, light red*purple flower,and some what compact root system.
Plants emerge quickly, but usually only have 1 to 3 stems perplant, thus high plant density and relatively low nitrogin levels tendto optimize yield of marketable sized tubers.

WHITE KENNEBEC POTATO

Stems without pigmentation. Large, broad dark green leaves. Thetubers are elliptical to oblong with shallow eyes, white skin and flesh.Blossoms are white and numerous.
Disease resistant to commonstrains of late blight, leaf roll and net necrosis, mosaic virus andvirus Y. Maturity late, quality high. Good processing quality for chipsand french fries.

RED LASODA POTATO

General Characteristics: Red LaSoda has a white to cream tuberflesh with a tuber shape of "round to oblong." It has a smooth, red topink-colored skin with deep to intermediate eye depth. The variety hasgood yield potential and a relatively low specific gravity compared toother red-skinned potato varieties adapted for Southern and Northernproduction. Two Red LaSoda selections have been evaluated in trialsince 2003; Red LaSoda 10 and Red LaSoda 13. To date, production andquality of these selections has not differed from Red LaSoda inuniversity trials.

RED PONTIAC POTATO

This large round potato has thin , dark red skins, deep eyes, and a crisp white fleash.
Excellent for mashed potatos and boiling, but not for baking. Heattolerant, long storing and high yielding, it will grow in heavy soils;well suited for growing in wire cages. One precaution about thisvariety: the skin is so thin, it sould be allowed to cure and firm upfor a week or two in the ground after the vine as died back.
